Dancesmiths' Charity Ball raised more than $12,500.00 for Le Bonheur Cardiac Kids Camp. Every penny raised goes directly to CKC, with Dancesmiths' Fred Astaire Dance Studio picking up the tab for the event.

This year's event was not without challenge. Our scheduled venue closed down, and a second site was not found until 30 days prior to the event! This forced us to hold plans for the Orchestra and the gathering of silent auction items until the very last minute. With a lot of help from many people, it all came together on September 28, 2004.

There were six Showcase numbers performed during the Dancesmiths' Charity Ball. These were not intended to be ballroom dance numbers, but performances of a lighter variety. Below are a few photos of each number.

The big check to help little hearts.

Lois Jensen and instructor Benji Smith, "If they could see me now."
